MESCO offers you comprehensive hardware development as well as innovative hardware design and engineering for electronic products. We have in-depth expertise in both analog and digital technology and have our own EMC test center to develop professional industrial solutions and products for process automation and production automation.

Hardware development: from concept to approval

In the field of hardware development, we support our customers from the initial idea through to prototyping and approvals. Our hardware development services include the creation of concepts and requirement profiles as well as the design of analog and digital technology.

We are experts in the field of hardware development in Explosion proof and develop EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) compliant products for you. We also have many years of experience in CAD technology and in the creation of production documents. Our range of services also includes prototyping, design verification and characterization as well as the creation of test programs with LabVIEW. Of course, we also support our customers with the approval of their electronic products as well as with the right tooling and testing of product developments under laboratory conditions. All this in our own laboratories, our test stations and in our in-house EMC Laboratory.

Electronics development: field devices and remote I/O

MESCO is an expert in the field of field device and remote I/O development. Our service also includes the connection to fieldbuses as well as the consideration of explosion protection and Functional safety.

In the field of electronics development, we offer you various services in the areas of analog and digital technology. In consulting, we provide you with implementation concepts, feasibility analyses and housing integration. Our experts also advise you with functional design consulting and concepts for explosion protection and functional safety. Our design services range from simple to complex system architectures to functional safety design, EMC-compliant design and PSPICE simulations. Our spectrum is complemented by services in layout, prototyping and testing, including our own fieldbus, electronics and EMC laboratory.

Hardware development methodology and V-model

MESCO develops hardware for you using modern development tools and methods. Modular structures and the use of standardized interfaces are a matter of course. If required, existing and tested design packages can be used.

The MESCO development methodology includes the application of the V-model with phase-oriented project processing with defined milestones and releases. Our experts work according to the principle of top-down design, which means that customer requirements are comprehensively analyzed and then translated into a system design with block diagrams. Teamwork is always a top priority at MESCO, so the entire know-how and experience of MESCO is brought into every project through internal design reviews. This results in significant synergy effects and consistently high quality!

Another integral part of our methodology is worst-case design, in which component tolerances, temperature coefficients, parameter scatter and the influence of environmental conditions are taken into account during circuit development. The industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C is therefore standard.

A testable design is also always part of our hardware development services. This means that from phase 1, the requirement specification, to the prototype, we check how the specification can be verified and how a production test is to be carried out. A detailed test specification for testing the prototypes is created during development. Test setups and conditions are documented in a comprehensible manner.

Comprehensive development documentation with detailed documentation of all development stages is also standard for us.
