Robotics is changing the way we live and work. In today’s fast-paced industrial landscape, robots are not only increasing productivity, but also changing the way tasks are performed in factories, warehouses and logistics centers.

Artificial intelligence in the automation industry

Exciting insights from leading industry experts will be provided by Avnet Silica’s webinar “The Rise of Intelligent Robotics”, which will take place on May 21, 2025 from 10:00-15:10 (CEST) and on May 22, 2025 from 09:30-15:10 (CEST). At the first session on May 21 under the motto “When AI Meets Automation”, MESCO Engineering will also be represented as one of the leading technology partners for functional safety and industrial communication. As a guest speaker, Peter Bernhardt, Head of Sales and Marketing at MESCO, will talk about the successful electronics development of a functionally safe drive module for cobots.

Humanoid robots in industrial companies

Sessions in the webinar will cover, for example, how different forms of AI, from generative to analytical to physical, are enabling robots to adapt, learn and work in increasingly complex environments. While humanoid robots are gaining traction as general purpose tools, many industrial companies are actively researching and testing their use in focused single task applications.

Also covered are the latest advances in collaborative and autonomous robotics, AI-driven vision systems and real-time sensor fusion, edge computing and motion control, intelligent automation and seamless connectivity.

Robotics strategy: webinar provides solutions

The webinar is aimed at engineers, system architects, innovation leaders and interested companies. Presentations will include actionable insights and real solutions that can improve a company’s robotics strategy, as well as development aspects of safe drive units.

At the end of each of the two sessions on May 21 and 22, the guest speakers and experts will be available for a live Q&A session.
