Many systems and devices in industrial automation must comply with the international standard on functional safety (IEC/EN 61508). You have the chance to get sound advice on the topic at a seminar. Together with our partners Renesas and Avnet, we will explain the basics and solutions for developing products according to IEC61508 on March 13, 2019. The seminar will be held in Leipzig.
In the morning, the fundamentals of functional safety, the relevant standards, functional safety requirements and solutions will be presented.
The afternoon will cover the implementation of the comprehensive safety concept with a microcontroller. In doing so, we will go into the pre-certified and documented software library, which makes it possible to reduce the development time.
