Well-known technology providers and industry experts from companies such as MESCO, Siemens, Hilscher, and HMS gave presentations on (safety) technologies, tools, and implementation options for PROFIdrive, PROFIsafe, and PROFIenergy. The workshop was accompanied by a Microfair, which invited to in-depth technical and informational discussions during the breaks.
The live demo on engineering and operation of drives and encoders met with great interest among the participants. In addition to testing a PROFIdrive implementation using a profile tester, a PROFIdrive drive was commissioned in the engineering tool.
All in all, a successful workshop! We would like to continue to be the host and platform for industry events of this kind in the future.
