MESCO has expanded its service portfolio and design package platform to include Ethernet-APL technology, specifically to accelerate the development of process equipment with Ethernet interfaces in hazardous areas.
In combination with the MESCO Safety CPU Module (in 1oo2 architecture) it forms the basis for the development of a safety relevant transmitter according to SIL3 requirements, Safety Industrial Ethernet Interface and Safe I/O.
Standard safety protocols such as PROFINET / PROFIsafe and EtherCAT / FSoE can thus be used for PA transmitters.
The MESCO Design Package platform ensures fast development time, significantly reduced risk, true rapid prototyping and is open to other new technologies such as OPC-UA for cloud services.
