The former Functional Safety Forum attracted nearly 400 participants, speakers and exhibitors under a new title. It was a success because the “name was the program,” according to the organizer.
Advantages unchanged
For one thing: The two-day forum offered technically sophisticated presentations that explicitly provided insight into new techniques, methods and tools. On the other hand: There were outlooks on future topics and upcoming challenges.
The exchange between related fields was also facilitated by this year’s event. Representatives from the fields of avionics, automotive and industry met commonalities, related methods and – even more valuable – possible synergies. During the breaks, discussions with experts from the respective fields rounded off the event.
Up close and personal
Due to the broad spectrum of topics, the forum granted suitable presentations for almost every subarea in the usual way. From management, to project management, to software, hardware and methodology, almost everything! And as the smart visitor knows: Even topics away from your own portfolio produce quite interesting food for thought.
