Good resolutions are a good start!
Dear reader
Your MESCO team wishes you a successful 2020! Thank you for placing your trust in us, and thank you for the good cooperation in the past year.
We successfully realised more than 40 projects for you in 2019. You benefit from our innovation and efficiency, while we benefit from the large range of new technologies, which is typical for the electronics and automation sector.
If you are not a customer yet, we would like to invite you to take your first mutual steps with us in 2020. Now is the time for good resolutions and we imagine that cutting development times is quite high up on your list this year.Product managers are pushing development departments to finish products faster and with ever more features, yet while maintaining the same high quality. This wish is particularly pronounced in the field of Functional Safety, since the market is waiting for these products. The challenge, however, is that the development times are longer and the risks higher. Thanks to our extensive experience with different project types, the concrete hardware and software development as well as methods, tools and certifying bodies, MESCO can take over parts of your product development for you independently.
MESCO presented the hardware and software development platforms at the trade fair SPS 2019. The individual Design Packages cover the areas of safe fieldbus communication, safety architecture (SIL2/SIL3), safe I/O, and encoders. This allows us to optimally implement motion control, safe I/O and functionally safe sensor/actuator projects. We are very grateful for the extremely positive reactions received to date and the first orders placed for this type of project realisation.
We look forward to an exciting new year with you!Here in our region, close to the Swiss border, we say “En guetes Neues!”

BiSS Association e.V. grants 500th license to MESCOMESCO develops hardware and software for encoder interfaces in customer-specific projects. That is why MESCO has joined the BiSS Association.
The open source interface BiSS continues to gain increasing popularity and correspondingly increasing demand. The bidirectional sensor interface introduced by iC-Haus in 2002 has established itself as a worldwide standard in encoder and drive technology. MESCO Design Package: Safe Fieldbus Wrapper IP
Our latest design package Safe Fieldbus Wrapper IP Design Package is a safety-relevant software library, which provides a generic communication interface between safe, Ethernet-based fieldbus stacks and safe device software.
Specific, safe fieldbus data is converted into an abstraction layer. Different safety stacks can thus be implemented without changing the interface to the software device application.
This is particularly beneficial for multi-protocol implementations of Ethernet-based fieldbuses such as PROFISAFE, FSoE, CIP Safety, CC-Link Safety.
The library Safe Fieldbus Wrapper IP can be used for safety projects up to SIL3.

28.– 30. May 2019, ParmaIn Germany, the SPS (smart production solutions) is the most important trade fair for automation. This format has also gained enormous popularity in Italy.
MESCO took part this year for the first time and was greeted by a highly interested audience – with the core topics Industrial Communication, Condition Monitoring and Functional Safety.
