New: Ethernet-APL Development Service & Design Package

MESCO has expanded the service portfolio and the Design Package platform with the Ethernet APL technology. This specifically accelerates the development of process devices with Ethernet interfaces in Ex areas.

In combination with the MESCO Safety CPU module (in 1oo2 architecture) it forms the basis for the development of a safety-relevant transmitter according to SIL3 requirements, Safety Industrial Ethernet Interface and Safe I/O.

Standard safety protocols such as PROFINET / PROFIsafe and EtherCAT / FSoE can thus be used for PA transmitters.

The MESCO Design Package platform ensures a fast development time, a clearly reduced risk, a real rapid prototyping and is open to other new technologies such as OPC-UA for cloud services.

This Ethernet APL technology will revolutionize PA measurement technology and field communication and change it permanently.

We offer the platform as well as the development service. Use both advantages!

Ethernet-APL & OPC Foundation cooperate

The cooperation between the OPC Foundation and the Ethernet-APL consortium will enable Ethernet-APL / OPC UA interfaces in the future. MESCO follows this trend and is expanding the Ethernet APL service accordingly: PROFINET / OPC-UA / MQTT communication can be implemented in field devices.
